DECK is communal art space for people to gather in the name of art and photography.
DECK is a physical manifestation of how photography transcends time and space (Discovery), sparks conversation (Engagement), brings people together (Community) and conveys information (Knowledge). These made up the acronym D.E.C.K. DECK houses Gallery, Library, Activity Studio, Artist’s Studio and Café within 19 magnificent shipping containers, creatively assembled to overcome the challenge of land scarcity in Singapore.

Singapore artist Robert Zhao Renhui will launch his book, A Guide to the Flora and Fauna of the World, in conjunction with his artwork at the Singapore Biennale 2013.
The book contains 55 photographs and documents pertaining to the project and a unique opportunity to view the work through the artist’s perspective.
